CONEKT is the external consultancy arm of TRW Automotive, generating new ideas and applying science and technology to product development, manufacture and validation. With over 50 years experience, we support customers through a knowledge-led approach to technological innovation.
With core competencies in sensing, control and actuation, supported by in depth embedded electronics, software design, safety engineering and system integration capabilities, Conekt has engineered many ground-breaking technologies across a broad range of industries including automotive, aerospace and defence. We continue to provide engineering expertise to our parent company, TRW Automotive, in terms of automotive and commercial vehicles products and technology, and as such, have an extensive knowledge and understanding of industry requirements in these areas. With a strong pedigree in aerospace engineering, Conekt is also familiar with the particular demands of stringent technology and product development to aerospace standards.
Another strand of our activity involves taking low-cost, high-reliability automotive components and systems and applying them into related marketplaces. One example is the application of automotive sensing capability into the road infrastructure.
Combining the skills of specialist engineers with our in-house test and validation facility, Conekt is in the unique position to offer a complete engineering service from concept design and development through prototype and validation testing to low volume manufacture and systems integration.
Our experienced engineering teams work closely with customers to define the project requirements whether for the entire or part of the product development pipeline.
